Neigepearl Obsessive Demands (Koda) DOB: 21/10/2007 Hip/elbow score pending
First time trying to stack him properly! Not an easy job
with a wriggly big boy!
Koda was from our mating of Indy and Kayne in 2007. He was the chunkiest boy in the litter (as
well as the goldest), but has actually turned out
pretty white and only a bit of cream down his back. He has kept that strength
and is very masculine. He is not a large male, but still within average
standards. We
originally placed him in a pet home with Pieter and Linda, but when I saw how
much of a lovely dog he was maturing into, it was lucky he was not yet desexed! Kodas fathers breeder Ange, thought he
was one of the best males from the litter at 8 weeks old because of his bone
and conformation, (though he was not a pick of mine due to his lighter eyes
and quieter nature and type), so funnily enough Ange
was correct, this boy truly really was something special! Koda was given back to us by Pieter and Linda
who are sadly relocating to He
has a very gentle nature and is great with everyone. He is great at obedience
and is very eager to please. We
are very pleased with his pigmentation, bone and type. His conformation is very
good. He has full dentition, excellent black pigmentation, dark to medium eye
colour, a correct length of body, a good front and
medium hindquarter angulation, a strong and level topline and good croup. We would like him to have a
slightly longer tail and lower tail carriage when excited, so this is what we
aim to improve on when breeding him. Conformation photos will be added when
he looses a few kilos! Koda has been hip and elbow x-rayed and we are
currently waiting on the results. We hope to have him contribute to our
breeding program in the future.
